Lesson Analysis:This lesson was developed for fourth grade students. If I had the opportunity to teach math in a fourth grade classroom this is a lesson I would teach. In this lesson I created an interactive activity through use of place value dry erase boards to encourage student participation. My objective was for students to accurately identify, create and define multi digit numbers in relation to their place value. I observed students in my first fourth grade field working on place value and students had a challenge mastering this concept, this lesson would benefit these students. Through participation students would feel safe and engaged in the content. I have planned to assess student learning informally through observations and a completed activity sheet.
